It's not especially the animals drawing visitors, but the flora bursting into colour from October to April. The wild iris, gladioli, delphiniums are simply charming, and you're allowed to explore the 1100 miles only by horse. Vehicles are forbidden, not to disturb the reedbuck, bushbuck, roan, eland and zebras. Contact Nyika Safari Company for some knowledgeable tours (265/13-30180).
